Steps to Becoming a Member
1. Complete Membership Application.
2. Pay suggested $10 annual dues. (These can be collected by the Membership Coordinator at SCG).
3. Complete 4 hours of volunteer work at the garden.
4. Commit to 2 garden open hours per month (most likely on Saturdays from 10am-2pm).

If you are interested in obtaining a private garden bed you must:
1. Complete all of the above membership requirements.
2. Complete Private Bed Application.
3. Pay additional suggested $10 annual dues ($20 total).
4. Be willing to commit to an additional 2 open hours per month (4 hours total).

The private beds will be allotted as follows:
For the open spots we have available this year, if the qualified applicants exceeds the number of beds we have available, a lottery system will be used. All requirements must be fulfilled by May 2nd to be included in the lottery. Please note that 1st year gardeners are likely to share a plot.
After all the spots have been filled, you will be put on our waitlist in the order of the date you completed your requirements. We encourage you to stay involved with any/all of the other aspects of the garden. You must uphold your 2-hour per month commitment to holding open hours or you will forfeit your spot on the waitlist.
