LOS SURES

The land the garden is on is owned by Los Sures. Southside United HDFC, better known as Los Sures, is a community-based non-profit organization which has served as an integral part in rebuilding the south side of Williamsburg for thirty-six years. Los Sures has undertaken large-scale rehabilitation of many buildings in the area, allowing families and individuals to live comfortably and creating an aesthetically pleasing neighborhood. They also offer the community a multitude of much-needed social services programs, including a senior center and a food pantry. We at SCG are very grateful to them for allowing us to develop these lots into such a lovely communal green space.
